Effective Communication

Increasingly, professionals who manage (ICT-) projects are confronted with cultural diversity in teams that calls for interpersonal and often intercultural competences. As academic curricula primarily focus on scientific knowledge and technical skills, little attention is paid to social competencies or experiential learning concepts that involve the whole person. Based on the tradition of the humanistic Person-Centered Approach, the certificate course “Effective Communication” aims to develop capacities in people that allow them to be as congruent and effective as possible in their interpersonal relationships in work contexts.
