This LL.M. Program focuses on international law, cross-border trade and investment transactions, transnational legal issues, international organizations, international economic law and dispute settlement, as well as human rights.

Students are encouraged to understand and research the fundamental structures of international law together with its specific theories and practices. The program also places great emphasis on the development of innovative achievements in academic writing.

The program’s courses, as well as practical involvement and talks, all form part of four modules (Fundamental Issues of International Law, International Economic Law, International Organizations, International Dispute Settlement) where the participants are required to reconsider and debate the interconnection of practice and theory by assessing current questions in international law.

Finally, our students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular and co-curricular offering on a not-for-credit basis.

The curriculum consists of 4 modules: Fundamental Issues of International Law, International Economic Law, International Organizations and International Dispute Settlement. Students have to complete all four modules constituting, together with a Master Thesis, a total of 60 ECTS.
