Aims and objectives

With the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the concept of sustainable development will become the guiding framework for global development for the next decades. Based in the UN City Vienna, the Master Program aims at imparting policy-oriented knowledge and applied methods for design of sustainability policies on national and international level. The program has an interdisciplinary orientation and is based on a plural understanding of scientific approaches with respect to globalization and sustainability.
