Real Estate and Residential Property Law

The real estate industry is an important component of the Austrian economy. However, it is bound by complicated legal regulations. This particularly applies to the issue of rental and lease, as well as to residential property law and housing association law. The importance of this legal matter is also clearly reflected by the number of cases decided upon by the Supreme Court, which has risen continuously over the last few years.

Participants of the continuing education master's program acquire a wide range of knowledge, spanning from tenancy law and residential property law, via real estate brokerage law, building law and legislation on neighborhood, to tax law and fee regulations. In addition, the program provides an overview of the economic framework as well as of rules of real estate valuation.
