Prize for Humanities, Cultural Studies, Social Sciences and Law

Our Scientific Director Manfred Nowak was awarded the Prize for Humanities, Cultural Studies, Social Sciences and Law of the City of Vienna.

Manfred Nowak is our Scientific Director and founder of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights in Vienna. In addition to his extensive publishing activities, he is distinguished by his many years of research and teaching work and as UN Special Rapporteur on torture. He tirelessly developed a variety of mediation projects for a broader public in the field of human rights and human dignity.

We wholeheartedly congratulate Manfred for his great achievements and well-deserved prize.
