LLM full-time

Students must complete a total of 24 units (60 ECTS). All core courses (10 units) are mandatory. The remaining 14 units shall be selected by the students among the elective courses according to their individual interests. Some electives may only be offered on a biannual basis.

One elective concentration currently offered is European Union Business Law including its international economic legal implications, another elective concentration is Business, Intellectual Property and New Technologies in the context of European and international law.

The courses of the full-time LLM program are offered during the week from Monday through Friday, in very rare cases also on Saturdays, from October 1 to January 31 (fall semester) and from March 1 to June 30 (spring semester).

Students have the choice, if admitted, to start the full-time LLM program in October or in March. Students typically complete the full-time LLM program in one academic year over a period of two semesters (9 months). Students also have the option to complete the full-time LLM program over a period of four semesters, for example for work-related reasons or for any other reasons.
