Training as a Mentor in Teacher Education Programmes

This certificate program is targeted at teachers at secondary school level who would like to become involved in the training of future teachers. Participants have successfully completed a teacher education program and have a permanent employment contract and at least three years of relevant professional experience[1]. In addition, they have completed subject-specific education and training and have gained experience in academic research and writing.

[1] Registration for the certificate program “Training as a Mentor in Teacher Education Programmes” is possible after three effective years of service as a teacher. In the compulsory school sector in Vienna, appointment and remuneration are only possible after six effective years of service.
