Studium Generale – a post-professional programme of the University of Vienna

You are in the post-professional stage of life and would like to study, expand your general knowledge from an academic perspective or deal with questions and issues of selected academic disciplines?

The Studium Generale program is the first post-professional degree program in Austria that allows you to obtain an academic degree. You can complete modules in the following disciplines: Botany and protection of species, chemistry, geography, german studies, computer science, communication (science), cultural and social anthropology, molecular biology, pharmacobotany, philosophy, physics, political science, law (democracy, inheritance Law), sociology, theology, business and cconomics, contemporary history.

Participants can look forward to valuable exchange with colleagues and experts at the University of Vienna. Courses exclusively for older students provide you with the opportunity to complete a university degree program.
