Person-Centered Psychotherapy
Participants in the university continuing education and training program in Person-Centered Psychotherapy acquire fundamental academic competences and knowledge of research methods as well as advanced knowledge and skills in the field of person-centered psychotherapy.
Participants in this certificate course primarily acquire knowledge of academic research methods by research-led means and knowledge of psychotherapy as well as competences in the field of person-centered psychotherapy, based on the humanistic axiom in psychotherapy.
Additional requirements for the registration as a psychotherapist in the list of the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection are the completion of the compulsory theoretical courses, the practical training and the self-experience at a recognized institution.

Short Facts
The master’s upgrade comprises 46 ECTS credits and can only be completed after successful completion of the compulsory and elective modules in the Advanced Study in Psychotherapy program.
